Toshiba continue to expand its Qosmio series, now they have plan to release Qosmio G40 in the coming June. The next Qosmio G40 will come with new look, they replace the classic black chassis with strong white lines. This new desktop replacement bring major enhancement and better performance such as Intel Core 2 Duo 2GHz T7300P of CPU (Santa Rosa), 512MB GeForce Go 8600 GT of GPU, 2GB of random access memory (ram), and 400GB of hard disk storage.

As the successor of Qosmio series, the G40 keep providing 17-inch display screen which support up to 1920 x 1200 of resolutions. Featuring Windows Vista pre-installed, the new G40 also utilizes HDMI 1.3 port and integrated HD DVD-R drive for better entertainment experience. This 5Kg laptop expected hit the european market next June with the retail price $4000 approximately, but it is not clear yet when it will hit the US market. [reference]
