Two days ago, Toshiba announced its new A205 laptop series S4577, S4617, and S4639. The cheapest one, S4577, costs under $1000 and powered by 1.73 GHz Intel Core 2 duo processor and Windows Vista Home Premium operating system. The memory type is PC-5300 DDR2 SDRAM at 1GB size and 667MHz speed. This laptop has 15.4-inc WXGA widescreen and powered by Intel GMA 950 graphic chipset which the memory is allocated dynamically between 8 - 256MB.

The new Toshiba A205-S4577 utilizes 160GB Hard Drive with speed at 5400rpm. It also equipped with double layer DVD drive, PC Card Slots, and USB Slots. Regarding connectivity the laptop support Wireless LAN (802.11a/b/g), LAN 10/100, and V.92 Modem. According to the company this affordable Satellite® A200/A205 is optimized for everyday use.

The other two laptop comes with more advance feature such as bigger memory and storage size, finger print reader, Labelflashâ„¢ drive (for burning high quality labels), and newer Wireless LAN technology 802.11n.
