Asustek scheduling to apply new environmental friendly technology to its laptop product lines. They plan to market the Ecobok, a laptop made from bamboo, next year. This is the first company product which is built with environmental approach. I don’t know whether other company has already had the same product or on the same schedule, but there are some products out there that made form bamboo already hit the market for some time now.

Since the bamboo are fully recyclable, as a result this product generate less waste than plastic and metal computer parts. This move should be a good news to universal interest.

As reported by stuff.tv, except the modular design which make the parts of the laptop replaceable without replace the whole laptop, yet still there are no more detail about the technical specification.
