Everex redying two new StepNote laptop XT5000J and VR2000J. The XT500J comes with higher specification include 17-inch screen (1440×900), 1.6GHz Turion X2 processors, 4GB of random access memory (RAM), 120GB of hard disk drive (HDD) and GeForce 7600 Graphics Processing Unit (GPU). It also has DVD burner and 4-in-1 card reader. Powered by Windows Vista Home Premium Edition, the XT500J will be available next days for $1,086.

The second one, VR2000J, come with lower specification. The screen down to 15.4-inch diagonal wide, the resolution down to 1280×800 pixels, the processor down to 1.73GHz Core Duo, the maximum RAM down to 2GB, and the GPU is integrated to motherboard chipset. Of course the price lower than $1,086.

Both laptop, XT5000J and VR2000J, of course come with a pair of battery that last 2.5 hours and 4 hours respectively. The pricing and the availability still not clear yet.
