Honestly, this is the first time i heard about a laptop manufacturer named Haier. But it’is ok, after googling for a while i landed to wikipedia’s page and then i realized that how stupid i am. Wikipedia describes that Haier is a producer of household appliances (“white goods”), including air conditioners, laptops, refrigerators, etc. Its headquarters are in Qingdao, Shandong, China. They are now the third largest white goods manufacturer in the world. Wow..

Ok lets take a look at the new T31G, the laptop comes with Intel Core 2 Duo T2250 (1.73Ghz) processor, 512MB ram, 80GB HDD, and GeForce FO 7400 (128MB) graphic card. It also equipped with integrated 1.3MP web camera and DVD/CD-R combo.

About the new HAIER W18, the laptop has the same specification with T31G except the screen, which is smaller (12.1-inch compare to 13.3-inch of T31G) but on the other side the W18 adopted bigger storage capacity (120GB HDD).

From the page i found, the laptops will hit Korean market with a price set at $967 and $1074 respectively.
