Coming as an enhancement version of the previous models, the ThinkPad X61 and X61s laptops offering 30% faster throughput and has more range for its wireless boradband connectivity include WWAN and WiFi 802.11 n. Other supported connectivity include Gigabit LAN, Bluetooth as well as standard modem.

Utilizing 8 cell standard batteries, both laptop could last 12 and 11 hours respectively, but the Tablet comes with shorter battery life (up to 10 hours). Other advance feature to deliver higher security standard, Lenovo also apply a password encryption improvement and fingerprint reader (optional). Adopting Intel Core 2 Duo CPU, the laptops & tablet boast Windows Vista operating system.
