Toshiba Portege R500-S5004 Laptop Weighs Only 780 gram
Toshiba called the new Portege R500-S5004 as “The Ultimate Ultraportable”, and they proudly claimed this is the world’s lightest 12.1-inch widescreen laptop. And i think its 780g weight (without optical drive) enough to back up the proclaims. The new Portege R500 configured with 1.2GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor U7600 with 533 FSB, 2GB of DDR2 memory, 64GB Solid State Disk (SSD) and Graphics Media Accelerator 950 (up to 2561B shared graphics memory).
Available in aluminum silver color, the R500 comes with finger print recognizer, WiFi 802.11 a/g/n, Bluetooth, Gigabit Ethernet, SD Slot, USB 2 port, and other popular I/O ports. The price set at $3000 and you can order at toshibadiredt.com.
