Targeting gamers enthusiast finally Dell XPS M1730 will be released on 27 August 2007 in France. As the successor of XPS M1710, the M1730 configured on Santa Rosa platform and powered by Intel Core 2 Duo T7300 or T7500 or T7700 processor or Core 2 Extreme X7800 mobile processor. The last processor type (X7800) is overclockable to boost the performance. It suitable for gaming and video editing tasks.

Other peripherals of Dell XPS M1730 include 256MB Nvidia Geforce 8600 GS card (up to 512MB GeForce 8700M GT), 256MB of memory and 512MB / 1GB Turbo Memory. Regarding connectivities, the laptop support WiFi 802.111 b/g/n and Bluetooth. Until now, still no word on the estimated price.
