Based on Atom, Acer version of Eee PC is Coming
Acer can not stand with the huge response of cheap laptop. And now they plan to launch its own version of Eee PC during Computex Trade in Taipei next June. Based on Atom processor, Acer said that its laptop weighs under 1 Kg.
But, unlike other companies who wax a load of lyrical rubbish about their low cost lappies being created for the sole purpose of helping the third world, Acer is refreshingly honest and admits that itβs in no way interested in marketing its new baby to the developing world. Acer wants rich people to buy its laptops. Lots of them.
