After two months since its announcement, the New Acer Aspire Gemstone Blue 6920 and 8920 is reported already available in North America. As multimedia laptop, both comes with large screen 16-inch and 18.4-inch respectively. Both laptop has similar specs including Intel Core2 Duo Processor T9500 processor, Mobile Intel PM965 Express chipset, Integrated Blu-ray Disc drive or 8X DVD Super Multi double-layer drive, NVIDIA GeForce 9500M GS, integrated webcam, 6-in-1 card reader, Express Card/54 slot, and HDMI port with HDCP support.
Regarding connectivity, both 6920 and 8920 support 802.11a/g/n WLAN, Bluetooth, gigabit LAN, and V.92 modem. But unlike 6920, the 8920 configurable with two hdd (320GB each). Price: $849 and $1299 respectively.
