Asus has been revealed its latest eco-friendly laptop with all-bamboo finished. The laptop was born from the U6 series with $2000 price-tag. Regarding technical specifications, the laptop powered by 2.4GHz Core 2 Duo T7700 Processor, 1 GB RAM, and other exclusive technologies made by Asus.

Launched a couple of days ago, the Eee PC’s competitor made by Acer named Aspire One is expected to reach 5 million of shipment by year-end. Retailing for $399 per unit, the Aspire One is $91 cheaper than Eee PC.
Acer’s Aspire One is equipped with an Intel chip, the Atom processor, specially designed for low-cost machines, and runs on both Linux and Windows.
