Sony Vaio Z, I want It

The Vaio Z

Announced a month ago, the new Vaio Z series is already available at sonystyle.com for $1800. This laptop is so small but features what the big and advance laptop should have. Configured with 13.1-inch wide screen and weighing at only 1.3kg, this laptop is a great companion for traveling. Hot features: LED Backlight, 1600 x 900 Resolution, Blu-ray Disc RW drive, SSD storage, and 802.11n wireless LAN.

HP Developing Cheaper Mini-Note

Mini-Note rival

The cheaper version of 2133 Mini-Note is under development, the reports said last month. But HP also stated that the next device won’t be as durable as the current one even though from a retail perspective it’s considered as a similar device but cheaper.

HP unveiled the 2133 Mini-Note back in April. The machine has an 8.9in display and is powered by VIA’s C7-M processor, clocked at up to 1.6GHz. There’s up to 2GB of 667MHz DDR 2 memory on board. Storage options include 120GB or 160GB, 5400rpm or 7200rpm hard drives, or 5GB of solid-state storage

Lenovo X200 Hands On

The new Lenovo X200 was announced a month ago, thank to Gizmodo who shares its hands on. As the newest Centrino 2-based ultraportable laptop from Lenovo, the X200 has all the wireless communication interfaces including WiMax, WWAN with GPS and Ultra-Wide Band for peripherals.

At first glance, it’s fairly unremarkable. The bland case design is standard Lenovo fare, it’s functional and super-solid. Base model’s battery life is 3.1 hours, with the 6 cell and 9 cell batteries enabling 6.2 and 9.4 hours, respectively.

Made in China, the Impulse NPX-9000 Laptop is not backed by OLPC fondation but it’s still cheap or even cheaper. The laptop configured with 400 MHz MIPS CPU, 7″ Analog Screen, 128 MB SDRAM, and 1 GB Flash Memory. It’s not run Windows OS but Linux instead.
