Based on the reports, the new ASUS F8Va Laptop should be already in stores since July in Korea. I don’t know whether this high-end laptop also available outside Korea, but I hope yes. Featuring 2.53GHz Intel Core Duo T9400 CPU, the F8Va laptop powered by ATI Radeon HD3650 graphic card to drive its high-res 14″ screen (1440*900 pixel). Other configuration include 4GB memory, 320GB SATA hdd, Blu-Ray DVD combo drive, 1.3MP built-in webcam, and HDMI port. Regarding OS, the F8Va chooses Vista.

Dell E-Series Netbook

Unveiled a month ago, the new E-series is a kind of a real Dell’s move to enter the budget netbook market. Powered by 1.6 GHz Intel Diamondville processor, the E-series configured with 8.9-inch screen and priced starting from $299. It’s reported available in three different types with basic configuration includes WiFi b/g, 512MB of RAM and 4GB of flash-based storage.

Fujitsu Netbook Coming in This Fall

The netbook market just getting crowder, thank to the OLPC by Negroponte that triggering major industry to follow the mission. Fujitsu soon will join the current player with its upcoming 8.9-inch netbook. Expected to run Windows XP Home, the netbook seems to be powered by Intel Atom processor. No further details yet about this device, but I think its key feature is similar to the existing netbook that’s already available in the market. Suggested retail price: €400.

Acer Aspire One in Japan?

I’m bit too late writing this news as the reports said last month that the Atom-based MID ‘Aspire One’ would be available in August in Japan, so it means the laptop is already available there. Equipped with WiMAX technology the Aspire One adopts 8.9-inch display with LED backlight that supports 1,024 x 600 resolution. It’s configured with 20GB HDD, 1GB of RAM, and runs Windows XP OS. Other specs: 249 x 170 x 29mm of measurement, 1.1 kg of weight, and 3 hr of battery life.
