ASUS released its new U36 model notebook. Mentioned as the world’s thinnest notebook with a standard-voltage Intel processor, the U36 boasts a unique thermal design reducing notebook thickness to a mere 19mm while still packing a powerful Intel Core i3 or Core i5 processor. Utilizing ASUS’ Super Hybrid Engine technology and an NVIDIA® graphics card with Optimus technology, the U36 has a super long battery life, lasting up to 10 hours.
A report said that BenQ to reveal its Android-based tablet at CES 2011. The 10.1-inch R100 tablet powered by a 833MHz ARM-based Samsung processor and has a 1024×600 resolution touch panel. Highlights: up to 12 hours battery life, a 8GB of storage, an SD slot and a mini-USB / mini-HDMI port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth.

Dell unveiled the Vostro V130, one of the thinnest and lightest ultraportable 13-inch laptops available. Constructed from sturdy aluminum and reinforced with zinc hinges and a magnesium alloy palm rest, the Vostro V130 includes color options Lucerne Red and Aberdeen Silver. In addition, the V130 is the first ultra-thin laptop to offer Hyperbaric Cooling, an Intel® Advanced Cooling Technology, to help it stay quiet and cool. Highlights: Windows® 7, new Intel Core ULV processor, full-sized keyboard and 13.3-inch High Definition WLED display, HDMI port, two USB 2.0 ports, shared USB/eSATA port and VGA, 802.11n wireless technology, optional WiMAX technology (U.S. only) and Bluetooth 3.0.

The mini NB500 is targeted at users who appreciate a slim, mobile device with basic computing consumption features at a very competitive price.
