ASI Corp released the Spring Peak 15.6″ Discrete VGA notebook. Available in 13.3″ CULV and 15.6″ SV models with both UMA and discrete graphics solutions, the Spring Peak platform has several unique features such as a docking station that is compatible with both form factors making the notebook family an ideal solution for resellers focusing on the SMB segment. In addition to the Configuration Center, Spring Peak notebooks also include an accelerometer that works in conjunction with Intel Always Aware and Intel Anti Theft Technology to lock the hard drive if the notebook is dropped or sound an alarm if it is moved after being activated.
