Review Quotes:
The Eee PC 900 is all about ease of use and portability, so it’s churlish to grumble about specifications. The little laptop ticks all the right boxes when it comes to features and performance. It’s probably not going to replace your 15in workhouse notebook, but it might well become a favoured second laptop to take with you on your travels.

Asus said on its advertisement that the current Eee PC configured with 900MHz or 800MHz Celeron CPU, but you won’t see that as Asus underclock it down to 630MHz and 570MHz respectively. Why? to make the battery last longer. But if you don’t care about the battery, you can overclock it back to 900MHz or 800MHz, how? it’s pretty easy.
In a nutshell, what you have to do is adjust the front side bus speed and the voltage for your CPU in order to increase its overall clock speed. You can do this manually, or if you’re the trusting sort, you can download a custom .ini file Cassisi put together with several advanced clock speeds included. Using Cassisi’s file I was able to get my Eee PC up to 1.06GHz.
