The pictures of MSI Wind spreading across the net. As a direct answer to the popular Asus Eee PC, the new Wind budget-ultraportable laptop will comes in two models 8.9 and 10-inch screens. Both model powered by LED backlight and support 1,024×600 resolution.

MSI originally suggested up to 7hrs battery life from the Wind. However, in a recent video hands-on it managed only 2.5hrs; MSI could be quoting times with some sort of auxiliary battery in place. It will be available in Europe in June, priced somewhere between $470 and a whopping $1,110, although a release schedule for the US is as-yet unknown.

Launched a week ago, the new MSI VR340 laptop powered by Intel Pentium Dual-Core processor, 3GB of memory (max), and 250GB of HDD. Regarding connectivities, the laptop sports Gigabit Ethernet, 56K modem, Bluetooth (optional), and WiFi 802.11 b/g.

Claimed to be a serious competitor of Asus Eee PC, the next MSI Wind laptop will be based on Intel Shelton’08 platform and configured with 1.0GHz Intel processor, 2.5-inch HDD, 1GB of memory, and 7-hour battery life.

This 10-inch laptop also has options to configured with 1.6GHz Intel processor and SSD instead of HDD. The expected price range between $458 - $1072. Oh i think its different class with Eee PC anyway.

MSI going green with its upcoming PR620 Anion laptop. This laptop will come with high concentration anions that able to clean and purify the air. And it also able to produce 550,000 ion/cc (50 cm from the air vent), did you get it? It can also contain 0.02ppm , did you get it? i still confuse, lol.

Late in July MSI announced its latest laptop targeting gamers market, the MSI GX600. The laptop configured with Intel Core 2 Duo processor, Intel PM965 Express chipset, 512MB Nvidia GeForce 8600M GT to support its 15.4-inch, and 4GB of DDR2 memory (max).

The selling point of GX600 could be the Turbo Drive Engine technology which offers users two performance mode Turbo and Power-Saving. The Turbo mode promises 20% cpu speed enhancement, while switching to Power-Saving mode the battery lifetime will last 15% longer. Howefver the price and the availability is still unclear.
