Asus, the well known cheap laptop manufacturer, thank to its Eee PC, recently released three new laptop based on Penryn platform: F8Sn, F8Sp, and W7Sg. The F8Sn powered by Intel Core 2 Duo T9300 processor and 3GB memory. While the F8Sp configured with 1GB memory and ATI Radeon 3650 graphics card to drive its 14.1-inch display in wide mode. An integrated 1.3MP camera is also included at both laptop.
Regarding the W7Sg, this laptop powered by Core 2 Duo T8300 processor, 2GB of memory and 250GB HDD, but unlike the previous laptops, this one available in white pearl color.

Targeting professional business user, Dell unveiled three new Vostro laptop series at once including 1310, 1510, and 1710. The first two (1310 & 1510) configured with 13.3-inch and 15.4-inch display respectively, and both powered by Intel Core 2 Duo processor, and up to 4GB of memory. Other features include DVD drive, 80GB of HDD, WiFi b/g, and Windows XP/Vista oprationg system. And last but not least, both laptop costs $749 and $599 respectively.
Regarding the 1710 series, beside its 17-inch screen size, there is no further details yet about the specification, but it will hit stores this month.
After OLPC, Eee PC, Intel Classmates, HP Mini-Notebook, and MSI Wind, now there is another player: the 3K Longititude 400 Mini-Notebook PC. Coming with 7-inch display, this mini laptop configured with Ingenic 400MHz processor, 512MB memory, 4GB of Flash memory-based storage, and a full-size keyboard.
Other features of 3K Longititude 400 include built-in wireless module, Ethernet LAN port, three USB ports, and an SD/SM media card reader. $399
