You want a notebook, you also want a tablet, but you don’t have the budget for both devices, only one device you can effort. I know it’s not the right answer for everyone, but let’s see what it can do.
The IdeaPad YOGA is a multi-mode notebook with four different usage style: notebook, tablet, stand and tent. Measuring 16.9mm thin and weighing 1.47kg, the YOGA comes with a 360 degree dual-hinge flip design which make the four usage mode possible. For entertainemnt, users can flip the screen into stand or tent mode.

As premium notebooks, the Series 9 come to the market for premium users. What premium users? Users who work at premium position with premium salary and premium taste. Available in 15- and 13-inches models, the new Series 9 are unveiled by Samsung at CES 2012 which is held in Vegas until Friday 13, 2012. So you still have a chance to experience this notebook instead of looking at the pictures here.
Beside its compact body, the new Series 9 is very thin at only 14.9mm for the 15-inch model, and only 12.9mm for the 13-inch model. Of course I love the 13-inch, it’s small enough to fit my style. You know, 13-inch is my favorite laptop size, not too big and not too small. Weighing at only 1.59kg and 1.16kg respectively, these premium notebooks are very travel-friendly, especially the smaller one.

Just two weeks ago I went to a computer mall to buy and configure my own PC. I need a new desktop PC as my second computer for my new hobby ‘photography editing’ which uses Photoshop massively. What I bought are a Biostar Motherboard, an Intel i7 quadcore processor, a 16 GB DDR3 memory, a 1 GB DDR 5 GPU from Biostar (based on Nvidia), and a 500 GB HDD. I have spent $800 and I still need $500 more to buy a 23-inch LED monitor, mouse, and keyboard. So what’s the point? I just want to give you a little overview about budget, specs, and requirement.
I need a new desktop PC for photo editing because my laptop is getting hot easily if I open Photoshop and start editing photograph. If you’re a gamers and need portablity, then a powerful notebook is the answer. And if you want to stay on the edge, take a look at the newest gaming notebook from MSI, the MSI GT783R. Of course you need to pay more for its portability, this Gaming Notebook will set you back $2,299.99.
